Apple Airport Extreme multi station network problems
I have 2 Apple Time Capsules and one gigabit airport extreme for 3 stations total. All support 802.11a/n-802.11b/g/n. It is absolutely beyond me how to set this up effectively as a single wireless network.
Here are some facts about the network I have:

Wifi interference and the AirPort "interference robustness" setting
To combat some dropouts on our home wifi network, I recently turned on "interference robustness" with the AirPort Utility. It seems to have worked (time will tell), my netbook is no longer losing the internet connection when a few rooms away from the router. (Oddly, my wife's laptop never lost th...

I've an iMac running Snow Leopard & I'd like to activate the internal Airport via Speech Recognition. I imagine a script would be involved but I've never utilized one before. Also I'm interested in an auto-generated log of when the Airport is on.

The OS X firewall causes certain applications to hang, only while AirPort is connected. How do I find the cause of this problem?
I'm experiencing three strange problems on OS X (Snow Leopard), which only appear while I am connected to a wireless network over Airport.
The "Security" tab in System Preferences takes about 1 minute to load, and clicking the lock to make changes also results in a long ...
Using a Mac as a wireless access point
I am trying to setup a Mac as a wireless access point to an existing network. Internet is shared from the Ethernet connection to AirPort, and AirPort is all setup. I can connect to it with a wireless device. However, when I try to access something on the Ethernet side of the network, I cannot acc...

Which routers do work with Snow Leopard without any problems?
I know this sounds pretty much like a question asked because of frustration, but i see no other solution but this one: i want to buy a new router and live with a stable internet connection. Some other people with other routers don't even seem to know that snow leopard has so much trouble with its...
Airport extreme IPv6 autoconfiguration
A user reports strange behavior from his airport extreme. Apparently, it sends out router advertisements for the prefix ::/64 - at least that the address that gets configured on the laptop, with the airport being listed as the router.
On the airport extreme itself, the "IPv6 Mode"...
All network devices freezing when Airport Extreme Base Station is connected. Any ideas?
I've been troubleshooting this issue for a while, and through a series of events have it narrowed down to my airport extreme base station. I like this router, since I'm able to connect to IPV6 sites without any insane configuration (my alternate router is too old and doesn't support v6).

Is there any way to hide Bonjour AFP services from one network port or IP pool only?
I've got two Mac OS machines networked via ethernet, one with 10.5, one 10.6. They have self-assigned IPs, and I want to keep using AFP that way. However, for internet access, we're on a public WiFi network and would rather not have our machines show up on any other Macs which happen to be on the...
Wi-Fi vs. Ethernet on AirPort Express
I use an AirPort Express to extend my Wi-Fi network and it works great. My question is whether I would notice a significant signal boost by plugging in an ethernet cable into the AirPort Express rather than accessing it over a Wi-Fi network?

I just got an AirPort Express. Want to use it as the primary wireless network here. I've connected it directly to my cable modem.

Why is the network speed on my Mac Pro (early 2009) so slow?
I have a really weird networking issue on my Mac Pro (Early 2009). I can’t get higher network speeds than about 2MBit/s. It doesn’t matter if this is over AirPort or one of the Ethernet ports. An iMac and a Mac mini in the same network with almost the same configuration get about 25-3...
How to blacklist a problem Wi-Fi access point by MAC address in Mac OS X
So I am a small Mac-user cog in a larger Windows-based network machine. The network here works fine for most everyone else (on PCs), but I have random timeouts and issues with the Wi-Fi.
Luckily, I have identified a few problem access points by MAC address (via their log messages...
