Before asking this question, I found a closed related question. I did not find a non-closed version of the question and I believe my question is sufficiently focused and objective to remain open.
Pretty much since e-ink came out, I've been hearing that it's some kind of huge leap forward for reading/ebooks. Is that true, with respect to health and comfort issues like eye strain? Please provide some justification, not just opinions; there are objective ways to answer this question. Feel free to note significant differences in other fields, such as time to load a page or power consumption, if they're relevant.
